Bulawayo
- Residents of Bulawayo have called on the parliament of
Zimbabwe to re-look into the Broadcasting
Services Act (BSA) with many highlighting that the law has infringed
on the rights of their freedom of expression. These sentiments were
projected yesterday at the Public Hearing by the Portfolio Committee
on Media, Information and Communication Technology.
ZimRights
yesterday launched a photography exhibition at Amakhosi Theatre
in Bulawayo. The exhibition is entitled "Reflections-A
Step back in History." The Director of ZimRights, Okay
Machisa said that the exhibition will be done across the country.
He said that they are not satisfied with the National Healing, Reconciliation
and Integration program undertaken by the government.
