Statement from the outgoing Chief Executive Officer & New Board Chairman

During the several years I have worked for New Hope Foundation as its Founder & First Director and later Chief Executive Officer, I have been able to learn and develop several skills which helped improving my capabilities. Seeing New Hope Foundation from its founding days up to this day when it is recognised by the World.

I greatly appreciated these years during which I had the opportunity to work with extraordinary people and several who became good friends and Partners. The projects I managed challenged me and allowed me to acquire new skills. It has not been easy for me to step down from being the Chief Executive Officer of New Hope Foundation, but I had to make consideration to do away with the founder syndrome to see the Organisation grow & to see it fulfil its objectives. For this purpose, I inform all our friends & partners that I shall support the incoming National coordinator to accomplish her mission, i have seen her through her induction and now have the full confidence that she is the best to replace me.

To the National Coordinator, I say I am excited to welcome you into the organisation and look forward to working with you in support of the many phenomenal community initiatives as one of the organisation's chief policy makers.

To the NGO World and all our partners and friends I say help me welcome Fortunate Jowa at New Hope Foundation and give her all the support she require to work with the disadvantaged of our society.
