Dr
Simba Makoni has youth support
Free-Zim Youth Movement
March 04, 2008
Makonism a new
concept out of the political darkness his "Era of taker-over
politics"
There has been a lot
of speculation ,about the declaration (In stating the Youths position)
The Free-Zim Youth Movement would adopt at the wake of the recent
political developments in Harare (The Makoni factor) ,with the Introduction
of the former ZANU PF Politburo member Dr Simba Makoni into the
political arena.
FZY Movement has always
subscribed to the core values and principals that "Simba nderedu
, Nyika ndeyedu, Nhaka ndeyedu, ivhu nderedu" translated "the
Power is ours ,the country is ours , heritage is ours and the land
is ours," with that said our positions has been consistence
with the ideals that a solution to the crisis had to be a None Genetically
modified solution ,but an organic home grown solution. Encompassing
or centred on National Interest "Vana wevhu" the "sons
of soil".
Thus FZY Movement
never endorsed the externalised driven regime charge agenda ,but
has been noted to advocate for leadership change that would revert
to a system of social control as a process of re-engaging the Zimbabwean
people, in empowering us to be the masters of our destiny.
The new dimension
policy should seek to unite all Zimbabwe people behind a clearly
defined objective and not an individual, policy takes precedence
over personality. To this day and age confusion over policy, ideology
and personality cult has marinated present politicians contributing
to the split among progressive forces.
Tendencies of
tribalism, sectionalism, and regionalism as well as the personality
cult prevalent among certain personalities and parochial organisations
in Zimbabwe must be buried....and foster a new era of politics.
Zimbabweans have suffered enough to tolerate individualism politics
centred on ego's, privatisation, commodification at the expense
of the suffering ordinary people of Zimbabwe.
Leadership qualities that we seek
A committed
and dedicated leadership is an important requirement in a revolutionary
party. Leadership must acknowledge workers, peasants and those intellectuals
fully committed to the task of national liberation and re-construction.
The leadership must work on the basis of a clear set of principles
and for clearly stated goals. It should lead and guide the people
towards the attainment of these goals without fear or favour;
The leadership
must show integrity, honesty and dedication all the time. Corruption
of any kind betrays the revolution and must be punished. The leadership
is answerable for all its actions to the masses of the people.
We support Dr Simba Makoni
Above
all ,running concurrently to the ills of the struggle in Zimbabwe
is the MAVAMBO,KUSILE ,DAWN way ,termed by political analysts and
cyber activists alike as the birth of the 3^rd force . Which embraces
the core fundamental transitional values the three N's, National
Authority , National re-engagement and National healing summarised
as collective responsibility (Unity) as structures and tools for
building a platform to induce for the rebirth of the once great
nation of Zimbabwe.
But Makoni has been part of the system....?
Dr Makoni
should be proud of being part a revolutionary party and movement
that bought national independence to our country against Imperialism,
however what we salute more his acknowledgement that the revolution
has lost its direction and should move with time. A strong leadership
from within is healthy for core values of social justice against
dictatorship. Who was not part of ZANU and ZAPU?
We have a lot of ex-Rhodesian
army within the so-called democratic movement who have been part
of the racist Smith regime. The concept and ideology of regime change
is a non-factor to latter . . . . our judgement should be based
on substance, level of articulation and relationship with the masses
of Zimbabwe, rather than personality or organization.
The role of
the Diaspora is not only to embrace but foster this concept of national
healing as our collective platform for our repatriation, re-construction
and development plan.
Down with corrupt leadership, kleptocracy, boss-player, and dictatorship,
forward with social justice, maintain our heritage, core-moral values,
and national history and pride.
