In commemoration of World AIDS Day on December 1, 2004, the One World Alliance and it's partners have focused their attention on the role of women in the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Today, 64% of young people infected with HIV, in the developing world, are girls. Misinformation, social and economic inequality, and violence against women and girls put them at greater risk. Kubatana put together this public service announcement towards the empowerment of women.
