Background

2012 was a successful year for us. It afforded us the opportunity to know more about the community that we are going to be working with and most importantly it gave us a platform to tap into our potential. It gave us a point of reference to measure our weakness and strengths. We faced a lot of challenges especially financially to operate smoothly and even expand our projects but due to sheer passion to see the urban poor being empowered and live a better life we sailed through. To that end, our 2013 projects calendar kicked off with great optimism and energy.

Introduction

We started our calendar with activities which we hope will make resounding impact on the expansion of our project scope despite the financial constraint. This has seen us hosting a very large turnout for the Zim Clean campaign, this may be used to predict that with more resources we can do more. We anticipate continued individual and team growth in the year 2013 through teamwork and inter-working with other stakeholders. We also hope that our expertise will positively impact other organisations thereby increasing our level of success since we are also targeting other organisations and not only the urban poor communities.
