Farewell dear comrade

The Forum is deeply saddened by the sudden and untimely passing on of its most senior staff member and founding Director of the Forum, Ms Eileen May Sawyer. Ms Sawyer passed on after a short illness, on the 10th of August 2012. At the time of her death she was still diligently working for the protection and promotion of human rights in Zimbabwe at the Forum, as a Consultant and Personal Adviser to the Executive Director. The Forum mourns her passing on, as her dedication and indefatigable will to facilitate access to justice for all, will be gravely missed. Funeral arrangements will be advised in due course. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
