with Tara Miller, Director of Childline Zimbabwe and energetic biscuit
March 21, 2013
yourself in five words?
Feisty, driven, confident, assertive, energetic.
the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Rome wasn’t built in a day!
the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever done?
I put my CV in at Childline Zimbabwe to apply for a volunteer counsellor
position and was invited for an interview for the Director position.
is your most treasured possession?
My Zimbabwe passport – if I lose it – what a nightmare
do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Life with no money, having no options, and having nowhere to turn
to for help.
have any strange hobbies?
Hate to admit it, but I get addicted to watching soapies!
do you dislike most about your appearance?
My disproportionate body!
is your greatest extravagance?
Buying my car.
have you got in your fridge?
Very little unfortunately, as I never have time to cook anything,
also I am not a very good cook.
is your greatest fear?
have you got in your pockets right now?
Cell phone and old tissues – yuck!
is your favourite journey?
Driving down the escarpment, into the Zambezi valley towards Mana
and the Zambezi River.
are your heroes in real life?
My mother and father – for the lessons they have taught me
and where were you happiest?
At junior school – Lilfordia.
your biggest vice?
were you like at school?
are you doing next?
Going home to feed my baby boy.
