Intensely human with flaws.

BREATHE.

Travelled on an open canoe from San Blas to Mainland Panama in a storm.

What is your most treasured possession?
My grandmother’s wedding ring.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Being abandoned as an elderly person.

Do you have any strange hobbies?
No.

What do you dislike most about your appearance?
Nothing, am good.

What is your greatest extravagance?
My iPad.

What have you got in your fridge?
Nothing, I don't own one! Ah you mean the fridge in the house? Organic eggs, an apple, carrots, Edam cheese, salad dressing, dried prunes, some kind of buttery stuff. Raw chocolate.

What is your greatest fear?
To leave this world and not have made a difference.

What have you got in your pockets right now?
Nothing I have no pockets.

What is your favourite journey?
Anything on a boat (not a cruise).

Who are your heroes in real life?
All my many children.

When and where were you happiest?
London in the mid 80s - mid 90s then things went pear shaped.

What’s your biggest vice?
Procrastinating.

What were you like at school?
A troublemaker.

What are you doing next?
Writing on women's prisons in Haiti.
