What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
To be myself.

What's the most ridiculous thing you've ever done?
I really don't remember.

What is your most treasured possession?
Knowing God.

Interviewer: How would you say knowing God has changed your life?

It makes me who I am. I'm not fearful because God is the Word that gives me instruction everyday on how I should run my life. The Word of God is clear. His Spirit makes everything better and gives me the power to be whoever I want to be.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Not knowing God.

Do you have any strange hobbies?
Watching TV a lot.

What do you dislike most about your appearance?
There are some areas of my skin that are dry. I think it's because of the harsh conditions I grew up in.

What is your greatest extravagance?
Shopping! I love shopping and I love to look good.

What do you have in your fridge?
I have fruits and other healthy things.

What is your greatest fear?
Ever since I got to know Christ I don't have fear. If anything freaks me out I work on it immediately by the Word of God.

What have you got in your pockets right now?
I don't have pockets.

What is your favourite journey?
When I was growing up in the rural areas I witnessed the faithfulness of God, where he took me from nothing to where I am today. It's one of my very humbling journeys where I say ‘wow had it not been for God I wouldn't be here.'

Who are your heroes in real life?
My mother. She was left a widow at 36 and she raised eight children. Now she is 68 and she never remarried. She made it a point to send all of us to school and she worked hard and sacrificed a lot. I look to her for strength.

When and where were you happiest?
I'm happy every day. One of the things that my mum gave us is knowing God. From then on I've never really had problems. Whenever I'm in trouble I pray and God always comes through.

What were you like at school?
I was daring and I was competing with boys. My brothers empowered me and affirmed me a lot.

What are you doing next?
I'm going to finish my work. I'm working on TaLi's policies.
