yourself in five words?
I'm just an open person.
the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Not to rely on other people for determining what's going to
happen to me.
the most ridiculous thing you've ever done?
Working for the same organisation for seven years. For me it was
strange, because at the time we were getting US dollars when everyone
else was being paid in Zim dollars and you could go to Roadport,
ehe, naidenda kuroadport, and when you changed as little as ten
dollars it was so much.
is your most treasured possession?
I don't possess things. I don't think of myself as having
possessions. Fun maybe.
do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Having someone else determine your priorities.
have any strange hobbies?
Being alone, and loving that.
do you dislike most about your appearance?
is your greatest extravagance?
do you have in your fridge?
There's a lot, but I think my wife knows better.
is your greatest fear?
Losing the energy to create. Waking up in the morning and asking
myself: ‘Why should I?'
have you got in your pockets right now?
is your favourite journey?
Any journey, my favourite part is discovering and experiencing new
Who are your heroes in real life?
My parents, sisters and brothers.
and where were you happiest?
Now, in Harare, working for Techzim.
is your biggest vice?
were you like at school?
I was very small and I was an opportunity for bullies. But I remained
just an opportunity because I was quite good with schoolwork, so
a lot of the time I could trade that. I used to laugh ridiculously
loud, and that used to get me into trouble.
are you doing next?
I really believe that the work I'm doing with TechZim has
to be incremental. I think it can be a bigger platform. There's
a lot of energy going into that.
