Describe
yourself in five words?
Strong, courageous, energetic, visionary.
What's
the best piece of advice you've ever received?
To finish school.
What's
the most ridiculous thing you've ever done?
I slept on the pavement after smoking some marijuana with some colleagues.
What
is your most treasured possession?
I feel that I'm full of potential.
What
do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Loss of a close relative.
Do you
have any strange hobbies?
Not really.
What
do you dislike most about your appearance?
My beard makes me feel a little uncomfortable. I feel like I look
older than I am.
What
is your greatest extravagance?
Spending money on alcohol.
What
do you have in your fridge?
Lacto and beef bones.
What
is your greatest fear?
It's in two parts. At a personal level, I'm afraid of
losing my job. At a national level, I'm afraid of what Zimbabwe
will become at the next elections.
What
have you got in your pockets right now?
Money.
What
is your favourite journey?
Going to my rural home in Masvingo/Bikita. I usually take the journey
at night, so I can arrive first thing in the morning.
Who are your heroes in real life?
My parents, they have made me what I am, and my family at large.
When
and where were you happiest?
When I won a place to study at the University of Zimbabwe.
What
is your biggest vice?
My inclination to alcohol.
What
were you like at school?
They used to say that I was naughty. I remember when I transferred
to a new school I was given so many punishments that I broke the
school record. Surprisingly I always did well in class.
What
are you doing next?
Talking to you.
