Describe
yourself in five words?
Bold, brave, courageous, fearless and focussed.
What's
the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Someone once told me that if you want something in life you have
to be aggressive in order to get it.
What's
the most ridiculous thing you've ever done?
I was once dragged from the crowd during a ceremony and made to
dance in front of close to 3000 people.
What
is your most treasured possession?
My family and my cameras.
What
do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Being confined to solitary confinement and denied the freedom of
expression.
Do you
have any strange hobbies?
I love shooting guinea fowls while on hunting expeditions.
What
do you dislike most about your appearance?
I have put a bit of weight on my abdomen. I need to flatten it a
little bit; I'm working on it.
What
is your greatest extravagance?
I used to spend too much money on fast and luxurious cars, but not
anymore.
What
have you got in your fridge?
Yogurt, juice, milk; the rest my wife would know.
What
is your greatest fear?
Not being able to do what I do best, which is take pictures, and
being separated from my family.
What
have you got in your pockets right now?
My cell phone and my wallet.
What
is your favourite journey?
I sometimes imagine myself in a world where I don't have to
worry so much about the future of my family, my health . . . where
stress is non-existent.
Who
are your heroes in real life?
I have a couple; I think my son is a hero. I see a lot of potential
in him. I think everyone can be a hero; we have something in all
of us that is lying dormant.
When
and where were you happiest?
Just about every time I'm at home, I'm happy.
What's
your biggest vice?
I have an appetite for sweet things . . . not good for my teeth!
What
were you like at school?
I was a very shy person, a little reserved. I was very sporty, an
all-rounder, athletics, rugby, swimming.
What
are you doing next?
I have to go to my other job.
