On Wednesday there was a dead silence of the vuvuzela in Jozi when Uruguay's Diego Forlan scored the first goal against Bafana Bafana.

The over confident Bafana Bafana fans had high expectations about walking over Uruguay on a chilly night at Loftus Stadium.

As Uruguay banged in the second and third goals it was all over for Parreira's boys. Fans began walking out way before full time.

Yesterday the Mexicans beat France 2 -0 leaving the Bafana Bafana fans hoping for a miracle. If only we all believed in miracles.

South Africa is on the verge of making history as the first host nation to be kicked out of the World Cup. At least the only good thing that South Africa will be known for is their greatest export, the vuvuzela.
