interview with George Seremwe
This is an Inzwa
feature. Find out more
yourself in five words?
Assertive. Positive thinking. Patient. Kind.
the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Positive thinkers always identify opportunities.
the most ridiculous thing you've ever done?
I don't know, everything makes a contribution.
is your most treasured possession?
My old-timer car. It's a jaguar.
do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Paralysis, if a situation is paralysed.
have any strange hobbies?
I don't think I should call it strange but I love
travelling to weird places. Like to where negative news comes from.
For instance Sudan, Vietnam, Cuba.
do you dislike most about your appearance?
I don't pay attention to that.
is your greatest extravagance?
have you got in your fridge?
Do I even own one? I have been camping for sometime.
is your greatest fear?
To make somebody angry, just to insult somebody.
have you got in your pockets right now?
I've got my wallet.
is your favourite journey?
I wouldn't mind going back to Cuba, countries like
Peru, Bolivia or Argentina.
are your heroes in real life?
My mother. What she did for me. What she did trying to
get money to get me to school.
and where were you happiest?
Here. There is a lot of work to be done. I'm happier
here than when I was in any of the countries I've been to.
your biggest vice?
were you like at school?
Stubborn and mischievous.
are you doing next?
I need to get my car serviced so I have to buy filters
and things like that.
