Describe
yourself in five words?
Gifted, blessed, brilliant and under-appreciated
What's
the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Be true to yourself
What's
the most ridiculous thing you've ever done?
Held on to a half empty beer bottle, while snoozing in a cheap bar
and I was being robbed
What
is your most treasured possession?
My mind
What
do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Facing your own imminent death and realising that there is so much
you haven't done, could have done and can do, if given the chance
Do you
have any strange hobbies?
I think many people consider me a bit strange anyway, so the area
covered here could be vast . . .
What
do you dislike most about your appearance?
I have learnt not to nurture such dislikes and embrace the way I
am - if some people find there is something they dislike about my
appearance, then they just have to take it up with The Designer
of the original blue print - some call that Great Designer God,
Allah, Musikavanhu, etc, and then there is the genetic pool of which
I am part of - a great heritage . . .
What
is your greatest extravagance?
Wishing that one day I can have one
What
have you got in your fridge?
Cold water when the power has not been interrupted
What
is your greatest fear?
Failure to achieve my full potential
What
have you got in your pockets right now?
A wallet with barely enough for a Kombi, a card holder with my ID
and card that do not seem to be doing much good these days, including
the ATM card; a somewhat antiquated cellphone and a connection to
my forebears (you have to guess what that is)
What
is your favourite journey?
Any that takes me from the brazen, corrupt, harlot that's Harare
(I love Harare by the way)
Who
are your heroes in real life?
Too many to mention, but anyone who is for the stream of life, the
betterment of humanity in one facet on another, in any realm, is
my hero regardless of race, sex, gender and class
When
and where were you happiest?
March 2008, lying in a hospital bed and realising that i wasn't
going to die after all
What's
your biggest vice?
It used to be sex but not anymore . . .
What
were you like at school?
A mixture of aloof reserve, comic bravura, passionate about basketball
and was already very creative, writing short stories, poems, collecting
inspirational quotes, especially about love - at one stage that
made me the darling of all the girls in my class - I was so-o romantic
and sensitive - so they said.
What
are you doing next?
Living life to the fullest, embracing my dreams and turning them
into reality through a disciplined vision . . . Look out for plays,
short prose and novels!
