yourself in five words?
Dedicated, motivated, compassionate, sociable, ego-less
the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Never give up, even if the answer is "no"
the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever done?
Put up a tent in the rain in Spain (!) in nothing but a pair of
your most treasured possession?
If wives don't count (!), my Kwele owl mask, circa 1930's
you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Seeing total desperation in someone's eyes
have any strange hobbies?
Answering silly email questionnaires?
you dislike most about your appearance?
Never really seen myself to be able to comment. In a mirror, it's
all reversed, isn't it?
your greatest extravagance?
Chicken tikka massala dinners from Marks & Spencer
you got in your fridge?
Lots of vegetables, some cider, beer, left-overs from yesterday
(now today's lunch!), milk, butter, jam
your greatest fear?
you got in your pockets right now?
Nothing. Working at home in my trackie bottoms (my comfy house clothes)
your favourite journey?
Locally, it's taking my canoe along the Great River Ouse in
Cambridge. Peace, tranquillity and beauty
your heroes in real life?
Anyone and everyone who stands up for what they believe in, and
who makes real sacrifice for their cause
where were you happiest?
I'm not generally unhappy
your biggest vice?
you like at school?
A useless, unhappy child. Never agreed with school, and it never
agreed with me
you doing next?
