Each year, the
Zimbabwe International Film Festival (ZIFF) honours excellence in
the film industry by giving awards. A number of local and international
filmmakers walked away with coveted stone sculpture awards designed
by Dominic Benhura.
Hosted by the
inimitable Tich Mataz (Tichafa Matambanadzo), the glamourous event
was attended by the who-is-who of the local entertainment and arts
scene. Seven Zimbabwean projects and personalities were honoured
on the night in various categories.
