"Promoting
rural women Innovations for agro-income & socio-economic strengthening"
or "The Pro-Women Income Project" is funded by the Embassy
of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (EKN) and implemented by Shurugwi
Partners - a community based organization operating in Shurugwi
under Tongogara Rural District Council (TRDC). We extend our appreciation
for the support to our funding partner (EKN) and AGRITEX, Tongogara
RDC, Department of Social Services and the District Administrator's
Office for the unwavering support and coordination in the implementation
of this programme. Special acknowledgement goes to the fresh produce
market value chain players including Servcor Catering, individual
traders and local transporters for forging both formal and non formal
agreements with local smallholder farmers. Your collective efforts
in this programme is valuable. - Pascal Manyakaidze, Programme Manager
