Background of the Picture Bulletin
This monthly picture bulletin provides insight,
progress and a continuous track of the activities of a grassroots
community project in the Chikato area, ward 7 of Shurugwi District
in Zimbabwe. Greatest appreciation goes to the Kingdom of the Netherlands
for the financial assistance for all the activities under the project
title "Chikato Orphans and Women's Economic and Social
Safety Project." The project interventions are being implemented
by Shurugwi Partners - a grassroots / community based organization
formed and managed by the local people.
The bulletin provides a supplement to project reports
by capturing and communicating the changes and activities through
showcasing the best pictures of the month on a continuous basis.
The project implementing team however welcome comments and inputs
from the recipients of this bulletin as it helps to shape programming
of the interventions aimed to empower the marginalized and mostly
vulnerable communities.
