for Agriculture (JAG) Zimbabwe

The Justice
for Agriculture Trust (JAG) and Justice for Agriculture Membership
Association (JAGMA) stand firm with the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human
Rights (ZLHR) and fully endorse and support their urgent
appeal on the Constitutional Amendment (No. 17) Act to the Special
Rapporteur, dealing with the independence of judges and lawyers
in the office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights at the United
Nations, Geneva.
JAG and its
Membership Association is seeking to join with the Zimbabwe Lawyers
for Human Rights, other human rights organisations and wider stakeholders
in the launching of an international challenge case against this
appalling amendment if, God forbid, it is assented by the president
into enforceable law.
