The High Court murder trial of the 29 MDC members failed to kick-off today after the trial judge, Justice Chinembiri Bhunu is claimed to have attended a funeral.

The 29 members are facing false charges of murder and public violence in Glen View, Harare and their trial started on Monday last week with four State witnesses testifying.

The State has lined up 20 witnesses. The trial is expected to resume tomorrow at 10am.
